Position: Site Manager Apprentice

Are you an experienced construction worker with a passion for home renovation? Do you have a solid background in the construction industry and a diverse skill set? We are seeking a skilled construction worker to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting renovation projects in the GTA and become a part of a company with excellent growth prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various construction tasks related to home renovation projects.
  • Safely utilize a wide variety of construction tools and equipment
  • Demonstrate general knowledge in all aspects of home renovation work.
  • Analyze work requirements, develop and communicate project scope and schedule.
  • Effectively analyze material requirements, source, and communicate to Project Lead
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to company standards and project specifications.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in construction. 
  • Proficiency in a broad range of construction tools and equipment.
  • General knowledge of all aspects of home renovation and building.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Availability to work between the hours of 8am – 6pm on Business Days, and outside of these hours on rare occasions should the project require it. 
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction related mathematics (e.g. fractions), with a general knowledge of physics.  Finite Mathematics formal education is beneficial.  
  • Excellent real-time problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
